These last couple days have been really nice, and the cows are loving the weather. Every morning that has nice weather, I bring out a few square bales of hay to feed them. They enjoy eating outside because they get food and are able to warm up a lot quicker since they have a thick coat of black fur. After we finished up our work in the woods with maple syrup for the night, I came up to the farm and filled their water tanks, fed them hay and some ears of sweet corn, and bedded them with some straw. When I have time on my hands, they occasionally get a back scratch which when they do, they fight over who gets it.
