Welcome to The Swanson Homestead

This Michigan farm has been in the family for over 100 years. My sisters and I are the sixth generation to live on this homestead. The home we live in was rebuilt in 1914 after the original home burnt to the ground within the first year of being built in 1912. We are a small working farm that continues to raise chickens and cattle and produces hay, maple syrup, and produce. I look forward to sharing with you our history and daily life on the farm.
