Maple Syrup - Building the New Sap Wagon

The frame of the sap wagon was originally a lot bigger. My dad and I cut it down to the size we desired to accommodate the bulk tank and fit down the trails in the woods. I did a lot of welding at joints to ensure the frame did not have any weak points and would not break or crack. After we got the shape finished, we painted the entire frame a gray color and then we got the wheels put on. We had a sap collection basin made out of a sheet of stainless steel we had out back. Once we got the tank on the wagon, we plumbed it all in and got ready for the syrup season.
