More Sap Bucket Cleanup

Today after work I walked up to the farm. I fed the cows some corn in the barn, and then I got on a mini bike and rode back to the woods. I began to wash the remaining buckets on the trees, and pull spiles. Dad came back shortly after and brought a trailer with him. He got the IH 784 tractor hooked up to it, and then he helped me wash buckets. After that we went around an began to gather up all the dry buckets. We did about half of the woods, which we stopped when the trailer got to heavy to keep adding buckets to because it was starting to make deeper ruts. Any still wet buckets were set on top of the dry buckets, so they could dry and not get mixed in. I drove the tractor and trailer up to the farm and backed it up to the barn where we will unload them. Dad came up in our side by side with my sister, and we went back to the woods. She took the side by side home and then my dad began to drain the back pan and the little bit of sap in the bulk tanks. I went and washed out 6 more buckets which had been missed, and I also pulled a spile that was missed. We came home later on the mini bikes for dinner, and after we ate I went up to the farm and fed the cows 4 square bales of hay inside. I came home and dad had just finished up cleaning out the wood burner’s creosote. I fixed the fire with 18 pieces of wood tonight before coming inside.
